Oh boy, these guys gotta step it up. This isn't a prestige breakfast place so I was confused why we waited about 30 minutes for a seat. Granted a Saturday morning, but it was awkward how they had it set up. People crowded inside and waiting to be seated , essentially staring at the people who are eating 4 feet away. The food is great, as we know...hangover food , or unhealthy breakfast munch. The chili on the hash brown is rediculously good. It was just strange to me how everyone was cool with waiting for such a minimal breakfast option. If the They speed things up , were at a 4 star solid.

5 Stars because,well...this location know how to handle a crowd with grace and ease. We were in Gulf Shores for Hangout Festival, along with the 40,000 other concert goers, plus vendors, employees, etc. This town was full to the gills. Enter breakfast on Sunday- Waffle House was ready to feed us, keep us orderly, and smile amongst the potential chaos. Upon entering, we were placed in a very orderly que. While waiting in the que, we were provided menus and a waitress then took out orders and handed us our order/check. We circulated through the line till it was our turn, took a seat, gave the new server our ticket, and shortly we had food. It. was awesome. Good grub, great foresight on the WH's part, happy concert goers even happier.... A Plus experience.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Had to practically beg for our ticket so we could check out. Lady at check out had us go to back of line twice because our waitress couldn't get a ticket to us. Then when she did get us a ticket, check out lady ignored us and finally we put cash down on machine and said we were leaving, which met with a rude remark or two. Staff was arguing in front of customers.

Waffle House is Waffle House. If you haven't been, go. This doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be a lavish gourmet meal however it is great late night dining or hangover breakfast! I only gave this Waffle House 4 stars because they don't always get your order right and their customer service is not really up to par. I have ordered take out several times and they claim to not have the order and the proceed to argue with each other about whether or not I called the right Waffle House. It's a small town, how many times could I really mess that up?? Needless to say, even if they make some mistakes I still love Waffle House!!

Solid breakfast done fast. The waffles are good, but I think the bacon, eggs, grits are even better. They brag about their hash browns; I'm not the one to ask, but all my co-eaters seem to love them. Surprisingly good coffee. Wait staff here is very friendly. Cleaned our table immediately.

Is there really such a thing as a bad Waffle House waffle? It is called the "Waffle" house for a reason. Service wasn't so friendly, but those folks are busy so I cut them some slack. Good breakfast on the go.
